The veteran South African Zionist leader Nicolai Kirschner was honored here last night on the occasion of his 70th birthday.
A number of Zionist organizations made presentations to Mr. Kirschner at a dinner given by the South African Zionist Federation, whose chairman he was for nearly 20 years Among the speakers who lauded Mr. Kirschner were Israel Dunsky, the present Zichist Federation chairman, Judge S. M. Kuper and Bernard Gering, past chairmen of the federation, Israel Minister R. Bavli and Chief Rabbi Louis Rabinowitz.
