Beate Klarsfeld today told Hadassah volunteers and wounded soldiers at the Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem that she is confident of winning her campaign to have former Nazis presently immune in Germany despite crimes against French Jewry, brought to justice. She said she found support particularly among German youth for what is called the “Klarsfeld Bill”–legislation that will enable the French government to prosecute the criminals. “I believe that women must take more vigorous direct political action for the causes in which they believe.” Mrs. Klarsfeld later told members of the Hadassah Council in Israel.
