Premier David Ben-Gurion, Dr. Nahum Goldmann, chairman of the Jewish Agency, and Rabbi Jacob Toledano, Israel’s Minister of Religions, were among those sending messages of welcome today to Rabbi J.J. Halberstam, the Klausenberger Rebbe, who arrived this week from New York with 51 of his followers for permanent settlement in Israel.

Davar concluded its comment with the hope that the sect members would be an example to the masses of American Zionists “and especially to the Zionist leaders.”
