The “coalition discipline” amendment to Israel’s government transition law received its final reading in Israel’s Parliament today and thus became law.
The measure provides that under certain circumstances a Cabinet Minister will be deemed to have resigned automatically if he or his faction in the Cabinet fail to vote in the Knesset, Israel’s Parliament, for a Government motion.
