The Israel Parliament was reconvened today to discuss the danger for Israel arising out of the acquisition of arms by Egypt from Communist countries. However, at the suggestion of Premier Moshe Sharett the debate on this subject was postponed till Monday.
The debate on the Communist-Egyptian arms deal was requested by the extreme rightist Herut Party and by the General Zionists. The Communist deputies vigorously objected to the starting of any debate on this issue.
