Kohler Dies at Age of 63 in Mountains

American Jewry lost one of its most distinguished sons yesterday with the sudden death of Dr. Max J. Kohler, outstanding jurist, author and champion of Jewish rights, who succumbed to an attack of angina pectoris in Long Lake, N. Y., a summer resort in the Adirondack Mountains. He was sixty-three.

Dr. Kohler had been on a vacation in Long Lake since July 8th. He became ill on Monday with what appeared to be a slight heart attack and physicians believed he was on the road to recovery when death came.
