Konstantin Semionov, a famous Soviet poet, arrived here today with his wife and paid a courtesy visit to Mayor Moredchai Namir.
Mr. Semionov said he intended to stay in Israel 10 days, and will visit educational and cultural institutions. “I also hope to meet people from all walks of life, ” he declared, “and to see the progress of Israel development. I hope Israel will be an open book for me, as I go around this country, and I will read it.”
