Koussevtisky Arrives in Israel to Conduct Philharmonic; Wishes to Play Wagner Works

Serge Koussevitsky, noted American conductor, has arrived in Israel and will conduct the first series of Israel Philharmonic Orchestra subscription concerts of the new season. He told correspondents that he is eager to conduct the works of Wagner and Strauss, whose compositions have until now not been played in Israel.
