Soviet Ambassador Mikha it Bodrov, as dean of the diplomatic corps in Israel, visited President Izhak Ben-Zvi this weekend at the head of 34 foreign ambassadors and ministers, to convey New Year greetings to Mr. Ben-Zvi and, through him, to the people of Israel.
Speaking on his own behalf, Mr. Bodrov told President Ben-Zvi that he wishes the Israeli people “happiness, health and prosperity.” He expressed the hope that Israel would “continue making its contribution toward world peace.”
