Severe punishment was demanded by Krylenko to-day against three of the six Jews among the 14 accused. He charged Berlatsky with being connected with the wrecking activities in the Government Bank, and of covering up irregularities by a special system of bookkeeping. He accused Ginsburg and Sokolovsky, both of whom had occupied high posts in the Supreme Economic Council, of having engaged in disorganisation and wrecking activities of the greatest gravity.
