Label A. Katz, candidate for president of B’nai B’rith, was presented a check in the sum of $5, 000 for the benefit of the Henry Monsky B’nai B’rith Building in Washington, D. C., at a dinner here last night on the eve of his departure for the triennial convention of B’nai B’rith in Jerusalem. The presentation was made in the presence of members and guests of New Orleans Lodge who sponsored the affair.
