A plan to convoke a World Jewish Labor Congress in the summer of 1930 was approved by the conference of the Working Palestine Leagues, which was in session here for several days. The proposal came from the Palestine Jewish labor organization, Histadruth, which submitted an extensive program for organizing the Jewish labor groups in various countries which are in sympathy with the ideals of the Jewish workers in Palestine.
Satisfaction with the entry of prominent Socialist leaders into the extended Jewish Agency was expressed in a special resolution adopted by the conference.
This action was taken following a discussion of the theories of the relation of the labor movement to the Palestine movement in which the labor leaders Remez, Napthtali and Dr. Arlosoroff participated. The Palestine Histadruth received a vote of thanks for the initiative taken in the matter.
