Five hundred former employes most of them Jewish, of the United Credit Institution of the Vienna Bank Society are facing a period of great dis### as result of an agreement just concluded between the bank and a new employes union.
Under the terms of the pact, the compensations of dismissed clerks are to be curtailed. Moreover, only “Aryans” among the unemployed clerks can be re-engaged. The others have found it impossible to find new positions and apparently cannot hope to find any.
