Labor Party head Ehud Barak declared that his party would remove its “safety net” for the government on the peace process in the Knesset if it acts on a Cabinet decision this week to suspend further implementation of the Wye agreement. The Labor Party has pledged not to bring down the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as long as it moves ahead with the Wye peace agreement signed in October.
