Two Excluded Following Stormy Debate at Special Meeting (Jewish Telegraphic Agency)
The Labor University of Minsk, capital of White Russia, was a nest of a systematic anti-Jewish campaign, it was revealed when the Jewish students submitted a formal complaint to the local committee of the Communist party.
A report from Moscow received here gives a wealth of details of the occurrence. At the labor university hall the anti-Semitic agitators posted an appeal opening with the words: “Bey Zhidov” (beat the Jews). As the result of the complaint of the Jewish students, the local Communist party was instrumental in calling a joint meeting of the students and the professors. A stormy debate ensued in which fifty-five speakers participated. The result what that two of the instigators, Stapranenko and Yschernjakow, members of the Communist youth organization, were expelled from the university.
