The Farband Labor Zionist Order last night awarded a plaque to the New York Times for “outstanding coverage of Israel and its enlightened editorial policy concerning this important part of the world.” The award was made at Unser Camp, here, by Meyer L. Brown, president of Farband, and accepted on behalf of the newspaper by Otto D. Tolischus, a member of the newspaper’s editorial board.
