Laborites Get Plurality in Zionist Elections

With approximately three-fourths of the votes tallied, a large plurality was indicated late this afternoon for the Labor ticket in yesterdays nation-wide election of delegates to the forthcoming World Zionist Congress.

Samuel Schmidt, secretary of the Central Shekel Board, said that 72,974 ballots had been counted of an estimated 100, 000. The vote by parties was: General Zionists, 16, 367; Laborites, 29,384; Mizrachi, 15, 202; Jewish State Party, 686, and Hadassah, 11,335.
