Lady Emily Spielmann Dies in London

Lady Emily Spielmann, widow of the late Sir Isidore Spielmann, died here at the age of 71. Her father was Sir Joseph Sebag Montefiore, a president of the Board of Jewish Deputies and a nephew of Sir Moses Montefiore. Her mother was Adelaide, daughter of Louis Cohen, who was a sister of the late L. L. Cohen, M.P., the late Sir Benjamin Cohen, M.P., and the first Lady Swaythling.

After the death of Sir Isidore, Lady Spielmann visited Palestine and other countries. She was an active worker at the Jewish Maternity Home and engaged in other welfare activities.
