Lady Melchett is President and Lady Sassoon is Chairman of a committee which has been formed to arrange a ball in aid of the funds of the London Jewish Hospital to be held on Tuesday, March 12th at Claridges Hotel.
The Jewish Hospital, which is open to all regardless of creed, has developed very rapidly from its humble beginnings in 1907, and last year was able to receive nearly 1,500 in-patients, while out-patient attendances numbered 51,000.
Lady Sassoon and Feodorowna Lady Alington will be the hostesses of the ball.
