The following officers were elected at the annual meeting of Congregation Shaarai Shomanyim, now in its seventy-ninth year; Joseph Jacobs, president; Daniel Manheimer, vicepresident; Saul Solomon, treasurer; Alexander T. Stein, secretary. Rabbi Daniel L. Davis was reelected.

Speaking at St. Paul’s Reformed Church here, Dr. Ewart E. Turner, former pastor of the American Church in Berlin, termed the anti-Semitism in Germany, “the worst single immorality in all Europe.”
