A large number of Kushans, land deeds issued by the Menorah Palestine Building Corporation, an American Jewish land purchasing and selling agency, were registered by the Palestine government Land Office.
In addition to the 313 Kushans issued recently, the present registration includes 1,109 Kushans for holders of lots in parcels A and C in the district to the south of Jaffa. The property of the Menorah is held by 400 Jews in Palestine and Egypt, and by 1,000 American Jews.
The land is in the vicinity of the Baith V’gan. Construction of 40 houses was begun recently. A road connecting South Jaffa with Tel Aviv has already been built.
