The Mexican government has not yet responded to a request from Israel that it close down the Palestine Liberation Organization office here in the wake of the terrorist massacre which killed 32 civilians in Israel March 11. Mexican newspapers this week expressed the hope that the government’s inaction on the PLO office would not affect Jewish tourism to Mexico. Tourism was adversely affected after Mexico voted for the anti-Zionist resolution in the UN General Assembly in 1975.
