More than 100 immigrants from the United States and Canada, ranging in age from three years to 90, were among the 900 passengers who arrived here yesterday aboard the Shalom liner.
The newcomers are the largest group of immigrants to come from North America in many years. Officials of the Jewish Agency’s immigration department and of the Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel welcomed the newcomers.
