A large rally marking the 22nd anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising was held here yesterday under the auspices of the War saw Ghetto Resistance Organization.
Those participating also paid homage to the memory of the 6,000,000 Jews killed in the Nazi holocaust. A resolution was adopted urging the construction of a suitable memorial here in New York City to honor the Jewish victims of the Nazis.
The main speaker at the event was Judge Michael A. Musmanno, one of the jurists who participated in the Nuremberg War Crimes Trial. Rabbi Israel Mowshowitz, former president of the New York Board of Rabbis, also addressed the gathering.
