Israel may expect soon “large-scale” immigration from Latin America, Menahem Beigin, leader of the Herut Party, declared here today upon his return from a seven-week tour of South American countries.
“It will be most important for Israel to absorb the first newcomers of this potential mass immigration and to grant special facilities to these immigrants,” he said. “South American Jews will not come here penniless,” he added.
