With Nazi anti-Semitic legislation going into effect in the Saar on March 1, the last Jewish families intending to leave the territory had emigrated today.

About 500 Jewish families, consisting chiefly of artisans and laborers, are remaining as a result of their inability to secure residence permits from the French authorities.

When the Reich took over the Saar last year, it guaranteed protection of minority rights and permission to export capital from the territory until March 1 of this year.
