The U.N. sub-committee on partition tonight reached agreement on a final draft of the revised text of its proposals, which were amended to meet the objections of the British Government, as outlined yesterday by Sir Alexander Cadogan.
American delegate Herschel Johnson and Soviet delegate Semyon Tsarapkin announced that they had been instructed by their governments to agree to the changes in the text, which will be submitted to the Ad Hoc Committee tomorrow morning.
