President Truman today told a press conference at Key West that he had no comment to make on a report that President Chaim Weizmann of Israel had appealed to him directly to intervene as a mediator between the Jews and Arabs in Palestine. The President also refused to comment on other reports that he had dispatched new instructions on Palestine to the U.S. delegation in Paris.
