The last transport to Israel from Belsen is expected to leave at the end of this month, the Jewish Committee for Relief Abroad announced here today. The Committee stated that the Jewish relief unit in Germany was gradually being reduced in personnel.
Meanwhile, the relief unit is arranging for a visit by four Jewish students from universities in the British zone of Germany to England, where they will take part in the special school organized by the Inter-University Jewish Federation. The Union of Jewish Students in the British zone, with headquarters in Bonn, is developing intense activity, the Committee reported. All students prepare for emigration after their studies are finished.
