The evening session of the World Zionist Organization’s Action Committee tonight was devoted to a discussion of political issues.
Most of the speakers, excepting the representatives of the right-wing Jewish State Party, supported the Zionist Executive’s views as outlined by Dr. Chaim Weizmann, president of the World Zionist Organization, and David Ben-Gurion, chairman of the Palestine Executive of the Jewish Agency for Palestine. The debate will continue tomorrow.
Menachem Mendel Ussishkin, world president of the Jewish National Fund, eulogized the Jews who have fallen in Palestine disorders. The committee held a memorial for Dr. Nahum Sokolow, Zionist leader, who died in London recently. The Executive reported on Jewish immigration into Palestine for the past year.
