A LARGE ARAB BAND UPROOTED AN ORANGE GROVE AT MISHMAR HAEMEK OCCUPYING FIFTEEN DUNAMS AND VALUED AT $75,000. THE GROVE WAS PLANTED FIVE YEARS AGO.

THE JERUSALEM DISTRICT COMMISSIONER ORDERED CLOSING OF ALL GATES OF THE OLD CITY QUARTER FROM FIVE P.M. TO FIVE A.M., EXCEPT THE JAFFA AND NABLUS GATES. A BEDOUIN BAND ROBBED AN ARAB’S CAR ON THE PALESTINE-SYRIA BORDER.

THE GOVERNMENT GRANTED $20,000 TO BEDOUINS IN THE BEERSHEBA AREA BECAUSE OF LAST YEAR’S DROUGHT.
