A meeting arranged by the Zionist Organization on the occasion of the Seventh Anniversary of the Balfour Declaration was attacked by bands of Latvian Fascisti. The Fascisti endeavored to disperse the meeting, but the assembly of Zionists resisted. Several of the Zionist members were injured.
The struggle was ended when the Jewish deputies, Lazarson and Nurock, who were to address the meeting, summoned the police.
