The situation of the Jews in the countries of Eastern Europe was described yesterday as one reverting to the Middle Ages by Dr. Mordecai Nurok, noted Latvian rabbi, former member of the Latvian Parliament and leader of the World Mizrachi Organization, who is in New York to participate in the sessions of the Administrative Committee of the Jewish Agency, of which he is a member.
