For the purpose of educating teachers in the religious schools of the Reform Synagogues, the Hebrew Union ollege school was launched at a luncheon meeting at which 38 rabbis were present. Rabbi Samuel Schulman was toastmaster and Dr. Julian Morgenstern, president of the College was a guest of honor. Abraham Franzblau of the College of the City of New York will be the principal of the school.
The school will open on Nov. 5. It will be located temporarily at the Temple Emmanu-El. The classes will be open to all young men and women possessing a high school diploma. It will be supported by the Hebrew Union College. Registration will commence October 15.
