Lawrence Marx will head the annual deficit campaign of the Federation for the Support of Jewish Philanthropic Societies, it was announced last night by Felix M. Warburg, chairman of the organization’s board of trustees.
Mr. Marx, who was guest of honor at a dinner at the Hotel Plaza attended by 200 persons in charity and was commended for his community services in a letter from Governor Herbert H. Lehman.
