A new compilation of Palestine ordinnances and legislation, in English, Hebrew and Arabis, together with incorporated amendments, is to be published here before the end of the year.
The work was done by Robert Harry Drayton, former Solicitor-General, who left for England two years ago to take up the post of Legal Draftsman attached to the Colonial Office.
There are to be three volumes: two of ordinances and one of rules and regulations. They will cover Palestine’s legislation from 1918 to 1933.
All interpretations, commentaries and cross-references, as well as an exhaustive index, will be given. A special ordinance is expected to give legal effect to this historical publication.
