Lawyers for a group of Holocaust survivors asked the Federal Reserve Bank of New York to delay approval of Deutsche Bank’s takeover of an American bank. The letter on behalf of survivors who have filed a class-action suit against Deutsche Bank asks that approval of the takeover of Bankers Trust Corp. be conditional on the German bank’s repaying all Nazi-era looted assets and profits made from the bank’s involvement with companies that used slave labor during World War II.
