Lawyers seeking compensation for those who worked as slave laborers for German firms during World War II unveiled a plan on Monday that would give hundreds of thousands of Holocaust survivors the same initial minimum payment. The plan would enable aging survivors to receive payments quickly, while allowing survivors who experienced extraordinary hardships to apply for additional compensation later.
