The corner-stone of the new Temple Beth-El of Great Neck will be laid with appropriate ceremonies today.
The principal speaker is to be Dr. Stephen S. Wise.
Other speakers will include Charles Snedeker, Supervisor of Nassau County; Daniel Lipsky, President of Temple Beth-El, Max Goldhill, Chairman of the Building Committee. Paul Meisner is in charge of the Committee on Arrangements. The members of the local clergy have been invited to attend.
Temple Beth-El of Great Neck, organized in 1928, has as its leader Rabbi Jacob Philip Rudin. The new Temple is being constructed at a cost of $125,000. It will seat 352 people and has Religious School facilities for 250 children.
