Indignant over the recent anti-Semitic forays on the part of the National Democratic Party of Czechoslovakia, Dr. Max Reiner, Jewish leader high in the councils of the party, today severed all connections with it.

Dr. Reiner is known to have been particularly incensed at the role played by the National Democrats in the recent student riots attending the transference of insignia from the German to the Czechoslovakian university here. German and Czechoslovakian Nationalist students clashed over the shifting of the ancient insignia and in the ensuing disturbances both factions turned on the Jews. Many Jews were injured in the melee and much Jewish-owned property, private and business, was damaged.
