Rabbi Maurice N. Eisendrath, president of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, today said that he would propose to Lessing J. Rosenwald, president of the anti-Zionist American Council for Judaism, that he visit Israel and satisfy himself that even from the purely American point of view the United States should support Israel.
