The Palestine work in the first year of the extended Jewish Agency, which is soon to be consummated, will require the expenditure of one million pounds, approximately five million dollars, according to an outline agreed upon at a meeting of the Zionist Executive here with the participation of Felix M. Warburg, Dr. Chaim Weizmann and Julius Simon.
This sum was agreed upon in accordance with the recommendations of the Joint Palestine Survey Commission. The meeting elicited the understanding that the American leaders of the Agency will be prepared to undertake to raise the American quota of the general sum, which will amount to about sixty per cent.
