Leaders of women’s organization will consider a plan for intensifying the interest of Jewish women in Palestine work through cooperation with the Jewish National Fund at a conference today at the Astor Hotel, at 2:30 p.m.
The conference has been called by Mrs. Israel Goldstein, chairman of the committee which seeks to coordinate women’s organizations with the Jewish National Fund. Mrs. Rebecca Kohut, Mrs. Richard Gottheil and Miss Eudice Elkind, chairman for Jewish National Fund affairs of Hadassah, will address the meeting.
More than one hundred women representing fifteen national and local organizations will attend. Among the organizations represented are The National Council of Jewish Women, Ivriah, Women’s League of the United Synagogue of America, Women’s League of the Union of Orthodox Hebrew Congregations, Pioneer Women’s Organization, Mizrachi Women’s Organization, Palestine Lighthouse, Hadassah and Women’s League for Palestine.
