A Swiss-Israeli Friendship League was set up here yesterday by a group of eminent Jewish and non-Jewish leaders of Switzerland’s political and cultural life.
Besides leading Protestant and Catholic laymen, the 20-member committee of the league includes Bethold Neidhard, president of the Zurich Supreme Court, Max Gurny, Judge Advocate of the Court of Appeals, former Cabinet member Albert Picot and Prof. J. Vogt, pastor of the Swiss Reform Church and Prof. M. Haag, head of the Catholic University at Lucerne.
