Leading Tallin refusnik Dr. Benor Gurfel has received permission to emigrate to Israel, the Student Struggle for Soviet. Jewry has learned. In the four years since his first refusal, Gurfel, a 43-year-old econometrician, had signed numerous appeals to Soviet and Western leaders. In August, 1976, he staged a lengthy hunger strike in an unsuccessful bid to participate in an international scientific conference in Helsinki.
