Leading U.S. Jewish groups are holding a memorial Wednesday in New York for the Columbia astronauts. New York Gov. George Pataki will be among the politicians attending the ceremony at 11:45 a.m. at Park East Synagogue. The ceremony was convened by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations, the Consulate General of Israel in New York, UJA-Federation of New York, the New York Board of Rabbis and the Metropolitan Council on Jewish Poverty.
