The League of Nations may be called in to arbitrate a controversy between the governments of Austria and Czechoslovakia over the bequests made in the will of the late Jewish millionaire, Schweiger, who died here, disposing of a fortune of twenty million schillings.

Because Schweiger was a Czechoslovakian subject and because he left a large nortion of his legacy to relatives living in Moravia, Czechoslovakia is claiming a share in the death duties. The Austrian government, however, insists that since Schweiger had long been a resident of Vienna, where he died, the death duties belong exclusively to Austria.
