“All Catholic forces must be mobilized and Catholic public opinion throughout the world must exercise pressure toward the end that the Vatican be represented in the Council of the League of Nations.” This demand was voiced today by Captain Eppstein, the president of the International Catholic Guild in a speech which he delivered before the Catholic Truth Society.
Captain Eppstein, who is a converted Jew, holds the position of a permanent official in the secretariat of the League of Nations at Geneva.
