Sir Herbert Emerson, League of Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and his assistant, Lord Duncannon, conferred with the Government today on plans for emigration of 1,200 political refugees and 3,000 Jewish refugees as soon as possible. The League officials advised the Jewish Telegraphic Agency that they were greatly concerned over the fate of these refugees and that the Czech Government was anxious to speed their emigration.
