The recently-concluded session here of the Arab League ?l considered a resolution calling on its member states to take drastic anti-Jew-? measures, according to an anonymous statement received today by all news agencies ?oreign correspondents.
The statement, which did not indicate whether the resolution had been adopted, ? it provided for each state to classify its Jewish nationals as citizens of the Jewish state, whose funds would be subject to confiscation to finance Arab attacks on Jewish Palestine. All Jews would be interned as political prisoners unless they agreed ?oin Arab armies organized to fight the Zionists.
The anonymous report says that Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Iraq favored the resolution, while Syria was hesitant and Lebanon reluctant.
